We went to the five star Hesperia Alicante Golf Hotel in May 2006
with several other colleagues from work and their other halves and had a fantastic
weekend.
The Husbands played golf and the wives went to the spa ... a great arrangement ...
everyone was happy and the weather was good too!
In all it was a very enjoyable weekend and a great escape from cold and grey blighty!
The hotel room was spacious, quiet, well furnished and situated on the groud floor
overlooking the edge of the golf course.
The buffet breakfasts were lovely, one of the best I have had at a hotel. There
was lots of choice from fresh fruit and pastries to a good old English cooked breakfast!
The hotel is situated in a residential area which is a 10 minute walk from the sea
and a lovely sandy beach which is ideal for families. There are beautiful bronze
statues dotted along the promenade.
In the evening we took a taxi to the harbour area and there were plenty of restaurants
to chose from.
