The tiny sandy bay at Petit Bot is less than 1 mile away and the walk down is very pleasant, along leafy lanes in a wooded vale. Beyond the garden, sheltered by trees and shrubs there is the swimming pool with a sun trap terrace. The swimming pool is heated from May to September.

Accommodation at Le Chene Hotel, Guernsey

Le Chene Hotel can accommodate up to 52 guests in 26 bedrooms and it is centrally heated throughout. The staff are courteous and helpful and will do all they can to make your stay as relaxing and enjoyable as possible.

All standard bedrooms are en-suite and include shower with WC, colour television, direct dial telephone, hair dryer, radio and tea / coffee making facilities including complimentary tea and coffee.

There are a number of "Superior Rooms", which include all of the above but also include bath with shower and wc, mini bar / refrigerator, trouser press and superior furnishings including armchairs and coffee table.

Self Catering Apartments at Le Chene Hotel, Guernsey

Each self catering apartment has one bedroom with a maximum of two persons accommodated. The bedroom has an en-suite bath with shower and wc. Bed and bathroom linen is provided. The bed arrangement can either be two single beds (twin bedded) or the beds zip & linked to make an "Emperor size" double.

The kitchen / dining area has a full size electric oven with 4 hobs and fan extractor, microwave oven, toaster and electric kettle. Ample storage is provided in fitted kitchen units and a refrigerator with freezer compartment. Cooking utensils including pots & pans, cutlery & crockery, along with kitchen linen are all included. Other furniture includes dining table with two chairs. The lounge area includes two armchairs, coffee table, colour television, VCR's with video library, radio and direct dial telephone. There are laundry facilities on site and each apartment has it's own iron and ironing board. An electric hair dryer is also provided.

Guests staying in the self catering apartments are welcome to eat in the hotel's non smoking restaurant. Our chef prepares interesting and varied menus of good, wholesome, home cooking and there is always a good variety of affordable wines.
